Enriching the Lives of Children in the Greater Holland Area

GRANT APPLICATION​

Our Grant Application is now available! If you are a non-profit organization with a mission that aligns with ours, we welcome you to apply! 

In the Holland area, approximately 11% of kids 18 and under are living in poverty. Their basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter are unmet. For kids not living in poverty, they may not have access to educational resources, medical care, or mentoring programs that could help them thrive and grow.

 

Holland Junior Welfare League's annual grant process allows HJWL to allocate funds to organizations and programs that may have the most significant influence and impact on the life of a child and the greater Holland community. See Impact for a list of organizations HJWL has awarded grants request to help local kids.

 

With volunteers, fundraising, and donations from local businesses and HJWL Alumnae, HJWL is able to give back to kids at-risk in the greater Holland, MI, community through area organizations focused on improving the welfare of children. Children are the future and communities' greatest resource. By investing in local kids today, we are securing the future of the Holland community for tomorrow.

Holland Junior Welfare League is a non-profit 501(c)(3), charitable organization formed by of a group of women, all volunteers, in the West MI community who volunteer their time and talents to raise money and perform service projects for the children in the community.
